Rama encounters Jazmin, a teenage gypsy girl who had been in the orphanage before being sold to a gyspy slavist by Bartolome, and tries to help her out. Mar follows Tacho, the most aloof to her of the orphans, and discovers his secret passion: theater. Malvina is hospitalized after her accident.
