Judge Lintz and Commander Rovère investigate the murder of a fourteen-year-old girl found in a maid's room. Very quickly, a repeat offender (recently released from prison) is arrested but is he really the culprit of this homicide which strangely resembles the one he had committed twelve years earlier.
