Lukas has traveled to Spain after his friend Sjon. Lukas and Sjon have started a pension there on the Spanish coast. Kootje had to give Camping 't Vrije Schaep back to nature and became unemployed. Doortje is disappointed that her relationship with Kootje has not led to a real relationship. Lena is pregnant and wants to become the first 'BOM - Conscious Unmarried Mother' in the Netherlands. Grandpa has grown old and flawed. Greet and Huipie are busy with their twins and are walking on their gums. Riek and Arie have inherited from an old aunt, but want to keep this a secret from their friends. On Doortje's birthday Lukas is missing, nobody has heard from Lukas for a long time. the relationship between Sjon and Lukas has ended and the pension is not running smoothly. The Amsterdam friends decide to travel to Spain together to help Lukas back in the saddle. Or maybe they are more on the run from their own problems?
