南北大狀

晚清，京城狀師紀學禮頭腦精密但為人刁鑽，廣東狀師宋世傑口齒伶俐但素來愛財，二人均好探離奇案情，屢破奇案，名滿天下，並稱“南北大狀”。 他們在京城相遇，因皆心高氣盛，加之文化相異，遂衝突不斷，更鬧出笑話。他們要在斷案上一較高下，紀學禮見多識廣，通過牛的鼻紋斷了禁宮偷牛案，宋世傑心細如髮，由貓眼形狀變化破了畫師遇害案，二人互相提醒，共破密室女屍案等多宗奇案。二人握手為友之際，風雲又起，紀學禮多年追查的大冤案竟涉及宋世傑家人，二人紅眼相爭，卻被真兇利用，施計暗害至一盲一啞……。
