arny Chau, also known as Darnie, was born in Arlington, Virginia on February 19, 1989. Her mother is of Cambodian descent, and her father is of Vietnamese and French descent. She grew up as an only child. Darny was a competitive figure skater, and was a twice Silver Medalist in the United States' Figure Skating Association's local competitions in Fairfax and Loudoun, Virginia.
