William Presley Burt had a career spanning seventy-five years on the stage and in motion pictures. Films he directed included Woman in Chains, Out of the Storm, The Girl and the Gangster and Casey of the Coast Guard. Among motion pictures he acted in were Night of Mystery, Danger Signals, King of Kings and Cimarron.
