Honjo Manami is a Japanese model, gravure model, essayist, radio host, and actress. She was born in Yamagata but lived in Osaka, Hyogo Prefecture until the age of twenty-four when she moved to Tokyo. She modeled while being a student and debuted on a TV series in 1993. She began modeling swimsuits in 1995 and became a gravure model next. Honjo was also on TV in commercials for the likes of NTT and Coca-Cola in that year. She continued to endorse corporate material like Pocky and Megmilk and others for years. She began working in radio as of 2017. She has been married to magazine editor Sawada Yasuhiko since 2002 and has a daughter born in 2006 and a son born in 2013.
