Writer, producer, director Anthony Joseph Gilroy penned screenplays for the original Bourne trilogy (2002–2007), The Devil's Advocate (1997), The Cutting Edge (1992) and wrote and directed the The Bourne Legacy (2012), Michael Clayton (2007), Duplicity (2009), and provided rewrites and uncredited reshoots for Rogue One. He later returned to the Star Wars universe as the showrunner, head writer and executive producer of Andor, chronicling the evolution of Cassian Andor over a five-year period preceding the events of Rogue One.
