Fernando Fernández, the Mexican actor, director, and screenwriter who enjoyed his greatest screen success as an actor/singer in the cabaretera films of the late 1940s, was born on Novmber 3, 1916 in Puebla, Mexico. He starred in many movies directed by his cousin/step-brother Emilio Fernández (his uncle, Emilio's father, married Fernando's mother after the death of her first husband, Fernando's father), including Enamorada (1946), Duelo en las montañas (1950), and Crepúsculo de Ódios (1958).
