French actress, born as Jacqueline Bitton in Marocco. During the 1950s she grew up in Marocco and in a kibuz in Netanya, Israel. When she was 14, the family moved to Aubervilliers in France. At that time she did not speak French. As her papers got lost there are uncertainties concerning her date of birth. In 1969 she made her film debut in the German mini series "The Leatherstocking Tales" (original title: Die Lederstrumpf-Erzählungen).
