Dennis Trillo’s journey in showbiz began with a surprising lack of confidence during auditions. In the early 2000s, after appearing in a TV commercial, he caught the attention of ABS-CBN talent scouts. Despite feeling nervous, Dennis attended the audition, unsure if he had the right face and personality for TV. To his surprise, he made the cut and was launched as part of Star Circle’s Batch 10, alongside contemporaries like Bea Alonzo, Alfred Vargas, and Nadine Samonte. Seeing himself on TV for the first time was both funny and odd, but it marked the beginning of a remarkable career. As he matured, Dennis learned the importance of planning and continually diversifying his roles to keep viewers engaged.
