Korean-Dutch filmmaker Paul Sin Nam Rigter was adopted from Korea to the Netherlands where he grew up in a Dutch family. He started his career as an actor, and also directed several short films such as Sweet Tomato (2004), Crush (2006), and In Between (2009) and Dealing With Death (2020).
