Born Gloria Carolyn Hirst, Gloria Winters worked in show business as a child. Small roles in movies led Gloria to be cast as Jackie Gleason's daughter 'Babs' on the 1949 television series The Life of Riley, soon followed by her role as 'Penny' in the 1951 television series Sky King.
