Cinematographer, actor John A. Alonzo had a long, successful career and was known for such films as Sounder, Chinatown, Norma Rae, Steel Magnolias, Overboard and his final film Deuces Wild. He began his career as an actor, appearing in Dragnet, Perry Mason, Combat! and The Wild Wild West, and films The Magnificent Seven and Terror at Black Falls
