The cargo ship Repubblica del Brasile sails a circular route between Italy and West Africa. Trough intimate interviews and peculiar visuals the film deepens what leads sailors to their life, against the backdrop of unseen European and African scenarios. From the master who's in charge of a 27 Italians and Filipinos crew, to the cook, from the chief engineer to cadets and ordinary seamen, anyone contributes to take a deeper view on such a peculiar life across states, time zones, day, night, sun and storms.
