Wallys Kindheit wird durch die Alkoholsucht ihrer Mutter immer mehr auf den Kopf gestellt. Hautnah erlebt sie die Exzesse und die Folgen der Sucht. Mit allen Mitteln versucht die Achtjährige, ihr Leben und das ihrer Familie aufrecht zu erhalten. Eine Achterbahnfahrt zwischen Ohnmacht, Überforderung und Verzweiflung beginnt.
