The special program tells the adventures of Didi, a wanderer who, on the eve of Christmas, gets lost in a small town where he is mistaken for a possible emissary of Santa Claus. Deciding to take on this role, he begins to spread Christmas ideals in the fictional Vila Esperança, seeking to solve the city's various problems.
