Daniel a convaincu sa mère Marion de faire construire une villa dans le sud de la France. Il a fait appel au petit promoteur François Ferardini pour les travaux. La maison doit être livrée un an plus tard. Mais le jour dit, Daniel découvre que rien n'est prêt : seuls les murs ont été montés ! Tout se complique quand Marion arrive pour s'installer. Il lui fait alors croire que sa maison est celle d'à côté.
