The film begins with Avinash (Subodh Bhave) being brought to a bungalow in an injured condition on a rainy day. A journalist, he is confined there as he tries to expose corrupt politician Shripatrao (Sayaji Shinde) during his election campaign and gets beaten up by his goons. Ravee (Amruta Subhash) too comes there with her group of friends. Avinash and Ravee come face to face and recognize each other despite several years of separation. Ravee has become a drug-addict due to circumstances. On that rainy day, they recall their days when they were kids and what led to their separation. Gayatri (Sonali Kulkarni) and Vishwas (Sandip Mehta) lead a happy life in a village with their two kids, Avinash and Ravee. Gayatri manages the house as well as their business,which impresses Shripatrao. Vishwas is framed in a legal case and sent to jail. To release him, Gayatri seeks Shripatrao's help and falls prey to his devious plan
