يقع الموظف الصغير (علي) في مشاكل، بسبب طموح ابنته في الزواج من شخص ثري يعوضها عن الفقر الذي عاشت فيه، وعندما يجبرها الأب على الزواج من شاب فقير، تهرب ليلة الزفاف، ويلتقطها شاب غني يغرر بها، ثم يطردها من منزله، لتتصاعد الأحداث.
