Fed up with her loafing son who wants to quit school, Paschalis' poor mother sends him to Athens to visit his successful brothers--Dimosthenis, the lawyer, and Ippokratis, the physician--to learn a thing or two about life. However, instead of studying, Paschalis decides to follow his friend Stratos' advice and pursue a career in the glamorous and lucrative world of entertainment, as a bouzouki player. Before long, money and fame transform the humble country boy into a popular music idol; nevertheless, how long will Paschalis' overnight success last? —Nick Riganas
