Secret mission in Marrakesh: It’s the kind of assignment widow Emily Pollifax has dreamed of all her life. Now, that wish finally seems to be coming true. Due to a mix-up at the CIA, Mrs. Pollifax is actually recruited as an agent and sent to Morocco to retrieve a book containing a coded message. The previously rather bored widow, now brimming with energy, is already on the plane when the U.S. intelligence service realizes the mistake. And so, Mrs. Pollifax finds herself swept into an exciting adventure—complete with kidnapping, sedation, and being mistaken for someone else.
