The Queen of Code tells the story of Grace Hopper: mathematics professor and US Navy Admiral. She worked on the first computer and she headed the team that created the first compiler, which led to the creation of the COBOL programming language. She popularized the term debugging. She was like an Edison or a Turing, yet she's not as widely known. Grace Hopper wasn't a feminist. She was not fighting to be included (f.e. when they wouldn't let her teach at Harvard), she just went along to the next thing. She was a trailblazer, but she never admitted that there was a trail to be blazed. Hopper would've hated being called Queen of Code. The film title is meant to salute her humor and sarcasm.
