Count Tarsis and his wife the actress Vanda Dupny is having their honeymoon visiting cities in central Europe. One night when the wife returns to the hotel she finds her husband dead on the floor. Blinded by grief she wonders the streets of the city. She runs into strange people, gets robbed and abused.
