In the process of escaping capture by the police for vagrancy, a largely silent hobo, diminutive in stature, enters the rear entrance of an upscale nightclub into the kitchen looking for something to eat. In carrying a violin case, the hobo is not denied by the ethnic Italian chef Carlos and in turn the floor show emcee who want to repay such a great musician for what he brings to the world. Not one to feed hobos, the club owner wants him to work for his meal, Carlos and the emcee's jobs on the line. Will the hobo disappoint either as a violinist and/or a pure entertainer?
