1925 # the future! The U.S. Postal Service faces air piracy from the Death Head Aerial Squadron. Gang leader Chester Van Arland learns that a $20,000 shipment of gold will be sent on a midnight flight to Washington. Van Arland acquires the war cross earned in France by Mail Service aviator Wallie Mason. The villain offers to return the cross in exchange for information about the route that the plane will fly # and also kidnaps Mason's girlfriend, Beryl Caruthers. Heroic Larry Cassidy, Mason's friend and fellow pilot, learns about the hold-up plans and chases the plane.
