Sandrine Dumez est formatrice en informatique en Île-de-France. Elle ne supporte plus sa vie et décide de se consacrer à l'agriculture. Après une formation, elle arrive dans le massif du Vercors pour s'occuper d'une ferme qu'elle veut acheter au vieux bougon Adrien. Leurs caractères vont faire des étincelles.

Sandrine (Mathilde Seigner) gets tired of her life as an Information technology instructor in Paris and decides to leave her work and dedicate her life to agriculture. She first goes to college where she earns her Bachelor degree#BTS in two years, undertaking internships along the way. She then wishes to buy an isolated farm in the Vercors Plateau from an old farmer called Adrien (Michel Serrault) who wishes to retire.
