The Final Departure

根据女入殓师永井結子的著作《今天的遗体》拍摄的探讨人性的电影。讲述了两位女性入殓师的爱与成长的故事。主人公河村亚衣的父母在她年幼时遭遇车祸不幸去世，留下她和弟弟两人相依为命，姐弟俩因为当时没能参加父母的葬礼和他们好好道别而一直无法释怀。亚衣在某次参加同事家举行的葬礼上结识了女入殓师满岛，满岛的高超技艺让亚衣很受感动。为了彻底治愈父母车祸离世给自己带来的心理阴影，亚衣决定拜师满岛成为一名入殓师。在为死者们送行的过程中，亚衣开始了解他们的故事，感受到了人性的善良和美好，最终自己也得到了救赎。
