World War 2 ended on 2 September 1945 when the Japanese delegation signed the articles of surrender on the deck of US battleship USS Missouri. In addition to detailing the surrender, this documentary covers the history of the ship and in particular the wartime lives of a few of her crew. These crewmen were there when Japan surrendered.
