Terrorists capture a Soviet missile submarine and they are intent on using it to unleash a barrage of missiles onto the US West Coast. American special services are called up to intercept and stop the terrorists before they can complete their mission. An unlikely American hero emerges to handle the task and save the day.
Als der tschetschenische Terrorist Khan ein russisches U-Boot übernimmt und, nachdem er ein paar Öltanker versenkt hat, auf die USA zusteuert, um dort Raketen mit Atomsprengköpfen abzufeuern, steht zwischen ihm und der Weltmacht nur Captain Ramsey (Jim Davidson), der mit seinem lädierten Boot, den Kampf gegen den Landesfeind aufnimmt, aber hoffnungslos unterlegen scheint.
