Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters: Live at David Lynch's Festival of Disruption

Robert Plant formed his current band The Sensational Space Shifters in 2012 and has been recording and touring with them ever since. Robert Plant has always introduced music from many cultures into his work and the Sensational Space Shifters blend of African rhythms and melodies, rock music, and folk roots is his latest incarnation. In October 2016 they took part in David Lynch's inaugural Festival of Disruption at the Ace Hotel Theater in Los Angeles, an event that raised funds for The David Lynch Foundation. The set featured tracks from the band's 2014 album Lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar alongside fascinating Space Shifters re-workings of Led Zeppelin classics.

L’evento ha avuto luogo nell’ottobre 2016 con l’obiettivo di raccogliere fondi per la David Lynch Foundation e anche il ricavato della vendita dei DVD verrà devoluto alla Fondazione a scopo benefico. Tra le otto canzoni presentate da Plant e compagni molte attingono al repertorio della leggendaria rock band di “Stairway To Heaven”, come “Black Dog”, “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You”, “Going To California” e “Whole Lotta Love”.

En octobre 2016, ils participaient au premier "Festival Of Disruption" à l'Ace Hotel Theatre de Los Angeles, un événement pour collecter des fonds pour la Fondation David Lynch. Au programme, des titres de leur album "Lullaby and... The Ceaseless Roar" sorti en 2014 et bien entendu les classiques de Led Zeppelin revisités.
