The unlikely friendship between Robert Blecker and Daryl Holton. A self-described "emotional retributivist," Blecker teaches at New York Law School in lower Manhattan. From there he directs his one-man crusade to save capital punishment from the growing wave of moratoriums and commutations on death row. In 1997, Holton shot and killed all four of his children with an assault rifle in Shelbyville, Tennessee. For these crimes, he received four separate death sentences.
