Julie Stevens is a beautiful young woman, strong and independent. Since the death of her husband, she has led a quiet life with her son, Charlie, and runs an art gallery that she owns. She meets Martin Hale, also a widower, newly settled in town with his daughter, Dana. The attraction is immediate. Unfortunately, Julie does not know that Martin is a professional con artist. He seduces rich women the better to steal them and then vanish. Still, Martin is firmly determined to turn the page and side with it.
