Prince of the Plains

Banker Ned Owens refuses to call in the many unpaid loans made to the local ranchers as he knows they are being terrorized by a gang of crooks and unable to pay. But the secret leader of the gang is James Taylor large stockholder of the bank.....

Face aux hypothèques impayées, le banquier Ned Owens refuse de sévir contre les éleveurs, car il les sait rackettés par une bande de hors-la-loi dont le chef secret est James Taylor, le principal actionnaire de la banque. Taylor assassine Owens et garde le secret sur la police d'assurance dont il compte bien s'accaparer. Bat Masterson évente le plan de Taylor et, sachant qu'il va cambrioler la banque pour voler la prime d'assurance, l'attend arme au poing avec le shérif.
