Porsche take the ultimate version of their multiple Le Mans and Endurance World Championship winning 919 Hybrid - the Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo - to the Nürburgring with driver Timo Bernhard to set a new outright lap record of 5:19.55, obliterating the previously unbeatable record set previously by another prototype racing Porsche - the 6:11.13 set by Stefan Bellof in 1983 driving a Porsche 956. .
