A pet snake dies under mysterious and suspicious circumstances. A young boy, Kyle, grieves for his lost friend and makes bold accusations against his stepmother, Cherise. Harold, a loving father and husband, struggles to make peace in his home. Leaving Cherise behind, Harold and Kyle embark on a journey to bury the dead snake, which brings Harold face to face with his own deep-seated sadness.
