Una ragazza scappa di casa poiché vuole fare l'attrice. Si unisce ad una compagnia di rivista ma rimane sempre ai margini. Un giorno la protagonista fa le bizze e si rifiuta di recitare in provincia e a lei capita la grande occasione di sostituirla, ma il fidanzato continua ad opporsi.
