A trama acompanha Regina (Leandra Leal) e Valério (Irandhir Santos) em uma história envolvente e sombria. Valério, filho e sobrinho de bicheiros, tenta evitar os negócios da família, mas é atraído por Regina para uma narrativa de humor ácido e ritmo eletrizante, ambientada no submundo do jogo do bicho no Rio de Janeiro.
