On a crowded subway, a real estate promoter convinces Patsy to put a down payment on a house in Paradise Acres, "heaven on earth." In a car loaded with cow, goat, and fowl, Patsy and her best friend Thelma take the long drive to their new house, only to find a small house on an otherwise sand-filled lot in the middle of a sandy wasteland. Patsy especially tries to make the best of it, but that night, a sandstorm threatens every man and beast in the area. Can the gals survive? —<[email protected]>
