Un architecte, Paul, dirige avec son fils une entreprise fleurissante. Tout semble allé pour le mieux jusqu'à un accident de voiture qui prive Paul de l'usage de la parole et de ses jambes. Accident ou tentative de meurtre? Car Paul a surpris sa bru dans les bras de son amant, et leurs rapports se détèriorent très rapidement.
