In western China there is a desert with an area of 270,000 square kilometers. The once bustling city life and oases on the legendary silk route were absorbed by wars and sand over time. Even the name of the "TaklaMakan" desert is interpreted by some as "Come in and you will not leave". At the beginning of the 20th century, the archaeologist Sir Aurel Stein decided to win the infamous desert. Following the route traced by the Chinese monk Xuanzang in the 7th century, he discovered, among others, preserved in excellent condition, the Buddhist library, and in it scrolls from thousands of years ago.
