故事发生在 1990 年代的秋天，中国东北的一个村庄。联谊会主任换位出现问题，村长派刘先生参加妇联会议。刘吹嘘村里联谊会的工作，官员称赞村子是一个典型。刘回来后，不得不假扮联谊会主任，力图让每一次吹牛都变成真。

Set in autumn of 1990s in a village in northeast China. A problem occurs in position shift change of sorority director, and the village head sends Mr. Liu to attend the women's federation meeting. Liu makes a boast of the work of village's sorority and the official praises the village as an archetype. When Liu returns, he has to pretend to act as a sorority director and tries to make every bragging to become true.
