Richard Manuel the Canadian-born soulful vocalist and pianist of The Band has never truly been explored in-depth. As a member of one of the most defining groups in rock history, Richard Manuel sadly ended his life in 1986. It is now time to truly explore who Richard Manuel was and what he contributed to music. Through interviews with Garth Hudson of The Band, Glenn William Grainger, playwright of Manuel, a theatrical endeavor based on Richard Manuel and Brock Reid, a young musician who is the winner of the first-ever Richard G. Manuel Music Award, Mr. Manuel will explore the legacy of one of rock's best.
