Liz and the Blue Bird

北宇治高等学校吹奏楽部所属の鎧塚みぞれと傘木希美は、それぞれオーボエとフルートを担当する親友同士。高校3年生の二人にとって最後の出場となるコンクールで選ばれた自由曲「リズと青い鳥」には、オーボエとフルート掛け合いのソロパートがあった。希美はその曲が自分たちのようだと無邪気に話していたが……。

“너에겐 날개가 있고, 끝없이 펼쳐진 하늘도 있어” 늘 혼자였던 ‘리즈’ 앞에 어떤 소녀가 나타났어. 두 사람은 둘도 없는 친구가 되지만, 결국 헤어졌지. 왜냐면 그 소녀는 사실 ‘파랑새’였거든. “이 동화, 꼭 우리 얘기 같지 않니?” 외톨이 ‘미조레’에게 다가와 친구가 되어준 ‘노조미’, 평생 단짝일 줄 알았던 둘은 어느새 고3 마지막 콩쿠르 합주곡 를 준비한다. 머지않은 졸업이 두렵기만 한 미조레에게 노조미는 ‘동화는 언제나 해피엔딩!’이라며 더 활짝 웃어 보이는데… 이들의 마지막 연주는 아름답게 울려 퍼질 수 있을까?

Liz's days of solitude come to an end when she meets a blue bird in the form of a young girl. Liz must make a heart-wrenching decision in order to truly realize her love for Blue Bird. High school seniors and close friends Mizore Yoroizuka and Nozomi Kasaki are tasked to play the lead instruments in the third movement of Liz and the Blue Bird, a concert band piece inspired by this fairy tale. The introverted and reserved Mizore plays the oboe, representing the kind and gentle Liz. Meanwhile, the radiant and popular Nozomi plays the flute, portraying the cheerful and energetic Blue Bird. However, as they rehearse, the distance between Mizore and Nozomi seems to grow. Their disjointed duet disappoints the band. With little time to improve as their performance draws near, they desperately attempt to connect with their respective characters. But when Mizore and Nozomi consider the story from a brand-new perspective, will the girls find the strength to face harsh realities?

Mizore ist im letzten Jahr der Highschool und muss sich entscheiden, wie ihr weiterer Lebensweg aussehen soll. Seit der ersten Klasse hat sie sich immer an ihre Mitschülerin Nozomi gehalten, die sie auch dazu bewegt hat, dem Musikklub der Schule beizutreten. Gemeinsam studieren sie dort für einen Musikwettbewerb das Musikstück „Liz und der Blaue Vogel“ ein, das auf einer Märchenvorlage beruht. Während der Proben erkennen die Freundinnen, dass sie nicht nur ihr Talent, sondern auch ihre Freundschaft unter Beweis stellen müssen und das Erwachsenwerden auch eine emotionale Reise ist …

Mizore Yoroizuka e Nozomi Kasaki sono due amiche intime e fanno parte del club musicale della scuola superiore Kitauji. Tranquilla e riservata, Yoroizuka suona l'oboe mentre Kasaki, vivace e popolare, suona il flauto. Il gruppo ha deciso di interpretare Liz e l'uccellino azzurro, una composizione ispirata ad una fiaba sull'amicizia tra una ragazza e un uccellino. Il brano musicale pone sia Mizore che Nozomi sotto i riflettori, per via di una parte di assolo destinata a Yoroizuka, e spinge le due ragazze a riconsiderare la propria amicizia.

Мизорэ Йоройзука и Нозоми Касаки — две лучшие подруги, учатся на последнем году старшей школы и обе состоят в клубе школьного духового оркестра. Тихая и застенчивая Мизорэ играет на гобое, а жизнерадостная Нозоми — на флейте. Они счастливо проводят свои дни в старшей школе, пока однажды клуб не начинает репетировать музыку, вдохновлённую сказкой «Лиз и синяя птица». Флейта и гобой изображают Лиз и Девушку, которые в конце обязательно расстаются. Погрузившись в эту удивительную историю, Мизорэ и Нозоми начинают осознавать, что сами не смогут быть вместе всегда. Ведь близится конец учебного года, это последний концерт школьного оркестра, и страх Мизорэ потерять подругу после выпуска серьёзно сказывается на качестве её игры.
