Life of Brian

Brian nasce contemporaneamente al Messia, in una capanna vicina e viene visitato per sbaglio dai Re Magi. L'equivoco continuerà nella vita adulta, tra confuse manovre di terroristi antiromani rivali tra loro, fino a quando i suoi compagni del Fronte popolare giudaico lo consegano a Pilato per farne un eroico martire: finirà crocefisso, ancora una volta per un equivoco.

En l'an 0, en terre de Galilée, Mandy et son bébé Brian reçoivent la visite des Rois Mages un beau soir de décembre. Ceux-ci, s'apercevant de leur erreur, remballent prestement leurs présents et filent dans l'étable voisine. Hélas, Brian a tiré le mauvais numéro...

Brian nace en un pesebre de Belén el mismo día que Jesucristo. Un cúmulo de desgraciados y tronchantes equívocos le harán llevar una vida paralela a la del verdadero Hijo de Dios. Sus pocas luces y el ambiente de decadencia y caos absoluto en que se haya sumergida la Galilea de aquellos días, le harán vivir en manos de su madre, de una feminista revolucionaria y del mismísimo Poncio Pilatos, su propia versión del calvario

Brian Cohen is born in a stable next door to the one in which Jesus is born, which initially confuses the Biblical Magi who come to praise the future King of the Jews. Brian later grows up an idealistic young man who resents the continuing Iudaea province. While attending Jesus's Sermon on the Mount, Brian becomes infatuated with an attractive young rebel, Judith. His desire for her and hatred for the Romans lead him to join the "People's Front of Judea", one of many fractious and bickering Zealots, who spend more time fighting each other than the Romans.
