Dans un bourg reculé, le petit Luka connait déjà le pire. La maladie de son père et le lien fusionnel avec sa mère font de lui l'homme de la maison. Lors de la visite quotidienne du jeune infirmier, une invitation inattendue à déjeuner attise sa jalousie. Il décide d'amener lui aussi sa propre invitée.
