Describes the last days of an old fisherman who wants to keep his dignity. A retiree, who has been a fisherman all his life, is bored to death with his son and daughter-in-law. Having discovered, during his long walks, an abandoned boat, he secretly undertakes to put it back afloat for a last trip.
