Ani, une fille d'Arménie, vient en France à la recherche de ses racines. Ses parents venaient de France mais ils ont déménagé en Arménie il y a des années. A travers son parcours, Ani croise la route de Jonathan, un garçon vivant en France mais originaire d'Angleterre. Puis elle rencontre Varzu, une fille vivant en France, dont la mère est néerlandaise et le père est allemand. Elle est née en Espagne. Enfin, Ani rencontre Ganga. Ganga est originaire d'Inde, mais il a beaucoup voyagé.
