Der Berner Polizeiwachtmeister Studer feiert im Wirtshaus einer alten Freundin die Hochzeit seiner Tochter. Als zu später Stunde vor der Gaststube ein Mord geschieht, übernimmt er die Ermittlungen. Starker erster Auftritt von Hans Heinz Moser in der Rolle von Glausers grüblerischem Ermittler Studer.
