Konga, the favorite wild horse of rancher Yance Calhoun, leads a stampede into the wheat field of Jordan Hadley, and the old feud between horse-breeder and wheat farmer flares anew. Hadley's daughter Judith and her sweetheart Steve Calhoun, Yance's son, bind Konga's wounds from the stampede. Hearing a rumor that Hadley has shot Konga, Yance confronts him and in the ensuing altercation kills him in self-defense. Yance is sentenced to prison, but Judith, the dead man's daughter, fights for his pardon.
